Yoga:  for Health, Healing and Relaxation

Classes involve gentle stretching exercises using the breath,to tone, strengthen and stretch the body.  A guided relaxation session towards the end of the class helps to relax and calm the mind.


Working with your body’s own ability yoga is suitable for all fitness levels and can complement other types of exercise.

Individual and small group sessions are available in addition to classes advertised locally.

During the summer months yoga classes and retreat afternoons take place in our purpose built yurt.

Classes range from gentle hatha in style to warming, energising morning practices, with yin, restorative yoga and relaxation in the mix.   Sessions are open to guests,  the local community and visitors alike.  Booking essential.

The yurt also provides a dedicated space for guests to take part in small group / individual yoga classes tailored to specific requirements: whether it be aching cyclist legs needing to stretch, or some slow restorative or yin yoga;  classes can be tailored to individual need. 

Small group pamper sessions and retreat days incorporating yoga, relaxation and  therapies can be arranged on request, with various time/budget options available.  Combined with afternoon tea they offer a lovely way to celebrate a special occasion or the perfect excuse to get together with good friends to relax and take some time out.




In 2013 I completed  my initial 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training with  Brenda Louw of ChillOut Yoga, and have been teaching locally ever since.  

I further completed an additional 100hrs training qualification with Brenda Louw in 2019,  and have also gone on to attend trainings in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and various teacher CPD days along the way.

I teach very much from the heart, having found for myself the benefits of yoga not just to stretch, tone and strengthen the body but also as an opportunity to rebalance body and mind; and come to that quiet space inside we all need  to get back to from time to time.

Here at The Wee Haven and in my community classes I hope to share the joy of yoga and encourage others to support their health and wellbeing.

Community Classes

Community Classes are currently on hold during the Coronavirus pandemic, but will resume in the Yurt here at The Wee Haven  from May.

Online classes are currently  ongoing on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
